If you’re wondering where to buy Kpop albums and merch in Korea, here are some of my favorite stores in Seoul and other cities you can check out. I’ve also included online shopping sites for Kpop merchandise.
Look in this day and age, listening to a Kpop idol’s music isn’t enough. You’ve got to go the whole nine yards and get their albums, merchandise, decor and everything else you can lay your hands on.
A lot of Kpop fans today aren’t casual listeners; they are, as the Gen Z phrase goes, “stans”.
And if that’s really benevolent then what’s the issue?

So if you’re obsessed with Korean pop music and pop culture in general and streaming your bias’s favorite song isn’t enough, you can actually buy their albums and related merchandise.
These merchandise usually include stuff like keychains, Kpop lightsticks, t-shirts, and even home decor items and stationery.

Where To Buy Kpop Albums And Merch In Korea
Here are some top stores in Korea where you can buy CD albums, records, and Kpop merchandise.
MUSIC KOREA
- Address: Nature Republic 3F, 52, Myeongdong 8-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul, Korea
- Timings: 9:00 am – 10:00pm
Located in Myeongdong, Seoul, Music Korea is perhaps the biggest Kpop album and merchandise retailer in all of South Korea.
I’ve listed the address above but it’s also pretty easy to spot. You just need to take Exit 6 out of Myeongdong railway station and go into the building opposite the Uniqlo store.
You will find everything, and I mean everything from records, CDs, cassette tapes and merch like t-shirts, mugs, stickers and wall decor here.
And if you cannot physically visit Korea, they also have a pretty extensive online store where you can buy stuff from.
The only catch here is that the merch might be quite expensive as they are officially licensed items.
KTown4U
- Address: 18, Teheran-ro 83-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea
- Timings: 9:00 am – 10:00pm
I’m sure you have heard of KTown4U. For the longest time it’s been the go-to online retailer for all things Kpop. And the best part?
Since 2017 they have actually had a physical Kpop store open in Seoul. It’s a brightly lit, art gallery kind of a place. So it’s a wonder to see in itself even if you’re not buying anything.
You can actually have a birthday event here as the store allows this sometimes. And if you’re REALLY lucky you might meet your idols here too as some fan signing events happen here.
SM Town & Store
- Address: 83-21, Wangsimni-ro, Seongdong-gu
- Timings: 10 am – 10:30 pm
So this store has a bit of a limitation. You’ll only find music and merch from the Kpop group SM Entertainment here.
There are two SMTown stores in Seoul. You can find one in the COEX Mall at Gangnam and another at DDP.
The only merch available here is from groups like EXO, Super Junior, Girl’s Generation and Red Velvet as it’s exclusive to their entertainment company only.
Buruttrak
- Address: 37-1 Myeongdong 8na-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea
- Timings: 10 am – 10:30 pm
Buruttrak or Buru’s Ddeurak is where you need to go if you’re thirsting after albums and merch from first generation Kpop artists.
So if your choice of music happens to be Seo Taiji and the Boys, H.O.T. and even Big Bang rather than Stray Kids or Mamamoo, this is where you need to be.
I love how the store itself has such a vintage feel to it.
Myeongdong Underground Shopping Center
- Address: 124 Toegye-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea
- Timings: 9:00 am – 11:00 pm
The Myeongdong Underground Shopping Center is a hidden gem when it comes to buying Kpop merchandise. You see, the more popular stores like Music Korea and KTown4U also have quite exorbitant prices as they are so upmarket, so to speak.
But in Myeongdong Underground Shopping Center you will be able to get the merch you want at very reasonable prices as there are several little stalls and prices get competitive.
I found some cute stickers, t-shirts, and even a few lightsticks here when I last visited Seoul that I quite cherish.
It’s very easy to reach this shopping center as it’s right after the Myeongdong metro station and can come across your way much before SMTown store and Music Korea.
Top Online Stores To Buy Kpop Albums and Merchandise In Korea
I know what you’re thinking. Do I have to buy a ticket to go to Seoul just to buy Kpop merchandise? Nope. Absolutely not. The physical Kpop store to buy merch, might come in handy to tourists and expats.
But what about the regular Kpop stans who are sitting at home right now wondering where to buy Kpop albums and merch in Korea without even going there.
Well, the answer is simple, isn’t it? Go online! There are several online stores where you can buy Korean pop music records and related merch.
Some, like the Ktown4u store, have both brick-and-mortar stores and online stores so you can get your hands on whatever’s in stock in their store in say Seoul, without even going there.
KPOPSHOPEE
The most famous of the online stores for Kpop albums and merch is Kpopshopee but honestly I found it a bit underwhelming.
For one thing, I found the merchandise here quite exorbitantly priced. And yes, they do charge extra international shipping and delivery charges so it didn’t make sense to me at all.
Amazon
Yes, you can actually find licensed Korean music and TV merchandise on Amazon. You just have to browse to find the legit sellers.
I’ve ordered Kpop CDs, lightsticks, BT21 stuffed toys, keychains and countless other merchandise from amazon.com all the time.
And yes, before you ask, the quality was fantastic. I also found the prices much less compared to Kpopshopee and I didn’t have to wait weeks for my order either.

Kpopmart is one of the best online shopping sites for all things Kpop related. I like this site a lot as it’s one of the most trustworthy sites for merchandise.
Also, I’m a fan of the huge collection they have that includes even K-drama and movie merch. So they’re not just limited to Korean music.
I’ve ordered from here before and I have no complaints about the quality. The official international shipping period is 3-4 weeks. But I’ve often gotten packages in 2 weeks itself. So they’re delivery is also very reliable.
