Sexy Korean Dramas 2022
Our Beloved Summer
- IMDB Rating: 8.9/10
- Starring: Woo-Sik Choi and Kim Da-Mi
Sexiness Meter – 7/10
This romantic comedy portrays the mixed feelings of a couple- Choi Ung (Choi Woo-Sik) and Kook Yeon-Su (Kim Da-Mi) who filmed a hit documentary ten years ago, when they were in high school, and how they broke up.
Fate brings them closer as they find themselves in front of the camera, yet again.
Choi Ung is a free-spirited and very naive man who wishes to have something for the first time in his life.
While Kook Yeon-Su who always dreamed of becoming the top student at her school is now a mature young adult that is adapting to her reality with a wound in her heart and living fiercely.
What is interesting is that Our Beloved Summer isn’t about just the steamy romance and spark between the characters but the way the story is narrated.
These two former high school sweethearts meet years after their break up even though neither of them has moved on from the relationship and their egos prevent them from reaching out to each other.
The soundtrack is amazing and even features an original soundtrack in the first episode and teaser by BTS idol V which is partly why so many BTS fans are getting hooked on this sexy drama.
It’s Okay to Not be Okay
- Genre: Romantic Comedy, Drama
- IMDB Rating: 8.7/10
- Starring: Kim-Soo Hyun and Seo Ye-Ji
Sexiness Meter – 8.5/10
This captivating romantic television drama portrays a story about a caregiver Moon Kang Tae ( Kim Soo Hyun)who does not believe in love and a popular children’s book author Ko moon Young( Seo Ye Ji) who is selfish, arrogant, and rude and suffers from an antisocial personality disorder.
Moon Kang Tae’s job entails him writing about various patients’ conditions and what to do in unexpected situations.
What I liked most is that It’s Okay To Not Be Okay narrates a unique and wonderful love story between the two characters while also addressing important mental health issues and mental wellness.
This is definitely a one-of-a-kind drama about how the two characters heal each other’s emotional wounds.
The drama features an empowering female lead and revolves around some powerful themes.
And yes, you might start watching it for the passionate romance, but ‘It’s okay to not be okay’ emphasizes the fact that nobody can escape problems in life and how we must deal with such issues.
So it’s got a good message and plot as well!
Another powerful theme in the drama is family and that can be seen in the hero’s relationship with his late mother and autistic brother.
I know. I know. It’s not exactly steamy romance fodder. But it’s just a subplot and there’s always the fast forward feature!
This must-see drama really highlights the fact that it is really okay not to be okay at times and that feeling is acceptable.
My Secret Romance
- IMDB Rating: 7.1/10
- Starring: Ji-eun Song and Sung Hoon

Cha Jin Wook(Sung Hoon) a selfish and arrogant son of a rich household enjoys his partying and affluent life when he is caught in a huge scandal.
His father sends him to one of their resorts to be well-trained in a hope that he would change. Lee Yoo Mi (Song Ji Eun), an aspiring nutritionist has a bumpy relationship with her mother and is forced to attend her wedding outside the city.
Although the two characters lock eyes on the bus on the way to the hotel, they bump into each other at the hotel where Cha Jin Wook is working as a bellboy and bump into Lee Yoo Mi with a cake tray.
Now that’s what I call a meet-cute!
After some childlike bickering, the two of them end up at the seaside sharing a bottle of wine together where they chat about their lives and end up having a one-night stand.
Fast forward to three years later, the characters meet again. Although this steamy and sexy rom-com can be a little predictable at times, I guarantee you will love every second of it.
The cheesy factors and over-the-top romantic gestures are intriguing and will make you wonder how the story will unfold.
This is definitely one of the K-dramas that has an equal dose of cheesy romance and sexy kisses!

But the game of seduction turns into something real when the two characters end up falling for each other and what is worse is that Eun Tae-hee finds out about this plan.
Although these two get separated, they reunite again after many years as their love never really died.
This cliche love story between a bad boy and a nice girl is always such a hit. But hey, I’m here for the steamy scenes. So who cares!

It delivers romance, and when you see the characters develop and deepen their relationship with undeniable chemistry, you’ll get your dose of passionate kisses!
So despite a few little hiccups in the story, overall, it checks the boxes for an awesome romantic comedy along with a nice supporting cast.

The pair share one thing in common: they both have broken ideas about love and soon become entangled in an undying romance where neither is willing to commit.

Quite forward for a Korean movie, Love and Leashes revolves around two colleagues, the overachieving Ji-hoo who loves partaking in BDSM activities and Ji-woo, a PR member from his team who figures out his secret.
And the two then decide to enter into a contractual relationship based purely on their physical desires. But will love remain far away?
Well, that’s the plot of this movie that has oodles of charm along with sex appeal. And this is exactly what makes is so worth watching.
Love and Leashes is based on the webtoon by Gyeoul called Moral Sense. The Korean news site Ohmynews called the movie “one of the most accurate representations of kinks in cinema”.
