In this article I’ve given the ASTRO members profiles including astro members age, height, birthday and other facts about the ASTRO kpop group.
Among the newer Kpop groups that have taken the world by storm is a 6-member band called ASTRO.
The group debuted on the 23rd of February in 2016 and consisted of six ASTRO members: Rocky, Eunwhoo, MJ, JinJin, Sanha, and Moonbin.
ASTRO comes under the management of the entertainment company Fantagio Universal which has branches in South Korea, Hong Kong, and Japan.

Rocky
- Real Name: Park Min Hyuk
- Age: 22
- Birthdate: February 25, 1999
- Position In The Group: Dancer, Lead Rapper, Vocalist
- Zodiac Sign: Pisces
- Height: 177 cm (5’10”)
- Birthplace: Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea
Rocky has been one of the fan favourites in ASTRO and has been dubbed Chef Minhyuk by the Aroha fandom. He graduated from the Hanlim Multi Arts High School and is proficient in many dance genres like Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet and Tap.
In fact, his dancing skills have earned him the name “Dancing Machine” from the Fantiago management. Rocky has often said that he would be a dance teacher if he wasn’t a Kpop star.
He has also choreographed the dancing in the music videos of ASTRO songs Wake Up Call and Fireworks.
Another interesting fact about Rocky that most people wouldn’t know is that he has a black belt in Taekwondo. According to sources, his favourite colour is Red.
In a funny interview, Rocky once admitted that if he were a girl he would date fellow team member Sanha.
Cha Eun-Woo

Often regarded by fans as one of the most handsome ASTRO members Eunwoo is a graduate of the Hanlim Multi Art School same as Rocky.
But while Rocky’s talents lie in dancing, Eunwoo is a fantastic actor. He has appeared in several Korean dramas like My ID is Gangnam Beauty, Rookie Historian Goo Hae-Ryung, and the web series My Romantic Some Recipe.
Eunwoo along with Jinjin is among the most fluent English speakers in the group. He is also very good at playing the violin, piano, and other musical instruments.
Between 2014-15, Eunwoo was also the brand ambassador of the Shara Shara Make-Up brand.
Moonbin

Moonbin enjoys the reputation of being the sweetest and most tender-hearted of the ASTRO members. In fact, fans of the Kpop group have nicknamed him “Sleepyhead” and “Puppycat” for his chocolate boy looks.
While Moonbin is the main vocalist of the group, he started out as a child actor. You might recognise him from the hugely popular 2009 drama Boys Over Flowers.
When asked what he would do if he wasn’t a Kpop singer, Moonbin gave quite a different answer from his bandmates. He said he wanted to be an athlete!
Moonbin has also revealed that his favourite colour is black and he loves eating beef.

JinJin

JinJin was the 5th trainee to be announced by Fantiago iTeen. Fans often call him “Angelic Smile” because of this warm and sweet personality.
He is often considered as the group leader thanks to his skills as the lead rapper and dancer.
Like his teammates Rocky and Eunwhoo, Jinjin is also a professionally trained dancer from the Hanlim Multi Arts High School. He also has a degree in dance from the NY Dance Academy in his hometown Ilsan.
Jinjin has often said he would like to be a professional drummer if he wasn’t a Kpop star. This is not surprising considering how great of a drummer he is!
He is also a skilled beatboxer and rapper. But his skills aren’t limited to these.
Among the six ASTRO members, Jinjin (alongside Eunwoo) is the most proficient at English. He is also trilingual as he can speak Chinese as well.
MJ
- Real Name: Kim Myung Jun

MJ is the lead vocalist of ASTRO and also the last member to join the group. He is also the oldest of the six bandmates.
His personality is very fun-loving and mischievous. So the ASTRO fandom has started calling him the Happy Virus as he is always smiling.
MJ’s favourite hobby is drawing and he’s once said he would like to be an architect if he wasn’t a Kpop star.
He also has dreams of opening his own sushi restaurant one day as he loves seafood!
MJ is also the first of his teammates to have a solo career. On November 3rd 2021, he launched his debut single called Get Set Yo.
Sanha

Sanha is the baby of the group as he is the youngest. Fans have given him cute nicknames like beagle and baby tiger thanks to this innocent and pure personality.
A lot of people would be surprised to know that he was only 12 when he started training with Fantiago to become a Kpop star.
Although he considers food as his hobby, Sanha is actually allergic to seafood and cannot drink coffee.
If you’re a cat person you share something in common with Kpop idol Sanha as he has two cats called Kiyong and Ray.
When asked who his role model was Sanha named Buster Buster. He also revealed that he would be a guitarist if he wasn’t in a Kpop group.
Sanha also has quite a sense of humour because when asked which of his bandmates he would date if he was a girl, he named himself.
